- Cleanliness. Room, bathroom, public areas, on arrival and on day two.
- Bed. Did we sleep? Mattress, pillows, noise.
- Bathroom. Water pressure, shower size, amenities.
- Room size. Space to live in, not brochure square meters.
- Breakfast. Fresh vs tray, espresso vs jug coffee.
- Buffet. Variety, temperature, the pasta station test.
- Lunch à la carte. What you can actually get in without a fight.
- Dinner à la carte. Quality, service, the reservation cap.
- All-inclusive, really. What is included on this property, and what is not.
- Pools. Count, cleanliness, chairs at 10 am, music level.
- Adult facilities. Bars, quiet zones, evening program.
- Kids facilities. Club, splash park, ages. Blank at adults-only.
- Staff. Named people, real moments, not smiles on cue.
- Beach. Sand, entry, seaweed on our dates, chairs.
- Value for money is never a number. It's the written verdict at the top of every review.
- Spas we couldn't film get no score. A dash, and the reason.
21 resorts carry a score today. A category we could not judge on a stay is a dash with a reason beside it, never a zero, and never a number borrowed from a sister hotel.
How we make money
- One all-in price, our margin inside it. No fee added at checkout, ever.
- No commission from the resort for the review. The booking pays; the opinion doesn't.
- The resort never sees the text before publication.
- If our price is higher than the resort's own, we tell you, and we say so on the page.
