What we do to keep this site readable, and the parts we know are not there yet.

What we aim for
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. We are not certified against it by anybody, and we are not going to claim more than we can show.
Most of our readers are on a phone, outdoors, in bright sun, deciding whether to spend two thousand dollars. That is who the design is for.
What we do
- Body text is 18px on a phone and 20px on a laptop. Nothing on the site is smaller than 16px.
- Every button, chip and standalone link is at least 44 pixels tall. A link inside a sentence keeps the sentence's own line height, which is what the rule expects.
- Contrast is measured on the rendered page — text over a photograph is checked against the actual pixels behind it, not against a colour in a stylesheet.
- Everything works with a keyboard, in the order the page reads, with a visible focus ring on every control.
- Photos carry alt text written by a person, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Motion is decoration. If your system asks for reduced motion, the sticky bar swaps instantly and nothing animates.
- Nothing autoplays with sound. Video is behind a click.
- Every page is checked with axe before it ships; we do not publish a page with a serious or critical violation.
What is not there yet
- Our older resort walk-through videos do not have captions. Everything filmed from the October 2026 trip onwards will.
- The payment form on the last step of a booking is Nuitée's, not ours. We can report a problem in it, but we cannot fix it ourselves.
- The photo viewer's pinch-zoom behaves differently on some older Android browsers. Every photo is still reachable and still has its caption.

If a page is blocking you and you want to book, say so in the email and we will take the booking by hand, at the same all-in price, with the same cancellation terms.
